After a small (very small) trip to Auvergne, Cantal, on the edge of the Aveyron.
I brought some pictures:).
First where we were, where the hamlet is the home of my grandmother and my mother was born:
We're top of the valley, there is almost a landslide below:
Here is a view of the valley. I think the U-shaped valleys such as this are of glacial origin, but am not sure:

Maleureusement there are many ruins, here is all that remains of the house of my great-aunt
And the traditional gentian which is made with Salers roots. It's too late for them, but anyway the gentianeur not happening in a specific area that every twenty years. it made me think that I tasted the Auvergne Cola, the Gentian. The market is also saturated as has its competitor Aveyron Bougnat Cola flavored with gentian him too:)
